On the 19th of May 2017, Team Di Mascio decided to travel to stage 14 of the Giro d’Italia.
We decided on Stage 14 as the race started at Castellania (the birthplace of Fausto Coppi) and ended in Oropa the Mountain dedicated to Marco Pantani. We decided to stay at the beautiful Sanctuary of Oropa which was also where the race finished that day.
A fantastic weekend, the sun was out for the race which saw Tom Dumoulin win the stage and also eventually win the 2017 Giro.
Biella is a fantastic place to visit if you want a great weekend of cycling.
