We’re dedicated to providing you the very best garments the market has to offer, with an emphasis on quality Italian fabrics, functionality and simplistic stylish design.
Founded in August 2015 by Creative Director Anthony Bagnall, Di Mascio has come a long way from its beginnings on a cycling trip to Ibiza with his brother, John. Anthony has always been a keen cyclist and would describe it as being ‘in his blood’.
‘A family thing’, he’s pretty sure he could ride a bike as soon as he could walk! This love of bikes later grew to a love of track cycling and Anthony then formed ‘Team Di Mascio’ that now competes on a national level.
Anthony’s other passion has always been within fashion. He studied a BA Hons in Fashion Clothing and Textiles at Leeds University and over the last 20 years has worked as a designer for some of the UK’s best-known sports fashion brands.
When he first started out, he wanted to create garments that were good quality, functional and made you feel good when you put them on. This is what drove him to start the brand.
Initially Di Mascio supplied the team only but, as demand grew outside of the team, he realised he was on to something special and that there was wider demand for the ethos and the clothing he created.
The name ‘Di Mascio; comes from Anthony’s Italian ancestry on his Mother’s side and is in fact his Mother’s maiden name… he thought it fitting as they currently only use the very best Italian fabrics.
